DefExpo-2022: Due to logistical problems being experienced by the participants, the Defense Expo 2022 to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from March 10 to March 14 has been postponed, a Defense Ministry spokesperson said.
A ministry spokesperson said the new dates would be informed in due course.
At DefExpo-2022, which coincides with the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations, countries will not only get an opportunity to showcase their equipment and platforms, but also be able to explore the expanding strengths and capabilities of the Indian defense industry. Will be Build business partnership.
The event is expected to contribute to boosting investments, expanding manufacturing capabilities and capabilities, finding avenues for technology absorption and, thus, advancing the target of defense exports of $5 billion by 2024.
