Degrees awarded to 2,480 students at Delhi Technological University’s convocation

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday called upon the graduating students of Delhi Technological University to conduct research to find ways to end the pollution problem in the capital so that the lives of the residents can be better.

Mr Sisodia was speaking at the 8th convocation of DTU, in which 2,480 students including 2,233 UG, 557 PG and 50 PhD students were awarded degrees.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the vision of the government is to develop such universities that the students of Europe and America dream of studying in the universities of Delhi, just like the students of our country dream of studying in Harvard in America or any other country. .

“The government aims to bring the educational institutions of Delhi among the top ranked institutions in the world. When the standard of our university will be high, then the country will also touch new heights of development, Mr. Sisodia said. He said that the role of universities in the economic development of any developed nation should be studied to know more.
