Ms Sen along with her Rajya Sabha colleagues Abir Ranjan Biswas and Sushmita Dev and Lok Sabha MPs Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Protima Mandal spent 14 hours on the road from Delhi to reach Lakhimpur Kheri. “BJP MPs and MLAs are getting away with ruthless killings under the Narendra Modi regime. What could be more embarrassing and shocking than this? And we must not forget that this is happening when the country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence,” said Ms. Sen.
