Delhi BJP to organize check-up, blood donation camp on PM Modi’s birthday from September 17 to October 2

Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta said on Thursday that the race will be flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on October 18.

The Delhi unit of the BJP on Thursday said it will celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as “Seva Pakhwada” and participants of slum-jhopri communities as part of programs beginning September 17 to mark the occasion. will organize a special race with Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta said on Thursday that the race will be flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on October 18.

He said that around 10,000 children and youth from slums of the city under the age group of 10-15 years for 2.5 km and 16-20 years for 5 km will participate in the race. Gupta said that “Seva Pakhwada” (Service Fortnight) will be celebrated from September 17 (PM Modi’s birthday) to October 2, during which various programs will be organized.

He said that thousands of blood donation camps, health check-up camps and other programs would also be organized.

He said that the cross country race would be flagged off from Shah Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. Delhi BJP vice-president Rajan Tiwari said a certificate would be given to all the participants of the race.

Apart from this, prize money of up to Rs 3 lakh will also be given to the winners under various categories.
