Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Rajasthan’s first Vande Bharat Express train today i.e. on April 12 through video conferencing. The first Vande Bharat Express in Rajasthan will run between Jaipur and Delhi Cantt Railway Station. The regular service of this Vande Bharat Express will start from 13th April. This will be the 14th Vande Bharat Express train of the country.
Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express will run between Ajmer and Delhi Cantt and will stop at Jaipur, Alwar and Gurgaon.
As per the schedule prepared for the latest Vande Bharat ExpressIt will cover the distance between Delhi Cantonment and Ajmer in 5 hrs 15 mins which is fastest than Shatabdi Express which takes approx 6 hrs 15 mins. The new Vande Bharat Express will run about 60 minutes faster than the Shatabdi. Vande Bharat Express between Ajmer and Delhi Cantt. It will also be the first semi-high-speed passenger train to run on high-rise overhead electric (OHE) lines.

Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express Fare of Vande Bharat Express:
The fare of Vande Bharat Express (Train No- 20978) between Delhi Cantonment to Ajmer will be this much 1250 which includes 308 as catering charges and 2270 in executive class which includes 369 as catering charges. However, the food option in this train is optional and no catering charges will be added to the fare if the passenger has opted for the ‘no food’ option.

The fare of Train Number- 20977 Vande Bharat Express from Ajmer Junction to Delhi Cantonment will be as follows Chair Car includes 1085 more 142 as catering charges and 2075 in the Executive CAS which will also include 175 as catering charges.
Timings of Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express Vande Bharat Express:
Delhi-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express will leave tomorrow at 18:40 pm and Ajmer-Delhi at 6:20 am. Trains will run on all days except Wednesday.

This train will improve connectivity to major tourist destinations of Rajasthan, including Pushkar and Ajmer Sharif Dargah, which attract a large number of tourists throughout the year.
The enhanced connectivity will also boost socio-economic development in the region.
