Delhi MCD Election Result: AAP leading in MCD polls, BJP not far behind

According to the exit polls released after the voting – AAP is expected to get a bumper majority in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections.

With the result of the initial hesitation, celebrations started in the Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia reached the house of Aam Aadmi’s National Commission Arvind Kejriwal early in the morning. At the same time, preparations for the celebration have started in the Aam Aadmi Party.

42 centers have been set up for counting of votes. During this, security arrangements have been made.

The counting centers are located in areas including Shastri Park, Yamuna Vihar, Mayur Vihar, Nand Nagari, Dwarka, Okhla, Mangolpuri, Pitampura, Alipore and Model City. Police officials said tight security has been put in place all over and 20 companies of Central Armed Police Forces and over 10,000 police personnel have been kept under watch. Both the AAP and the BJP exude confidence that they will emerge victorious in the elections, while the Congress is trying to regain lost ground.
