Delhi MCD Election Result: AAP leading in MCD polls, BJP not far behind

Voting for the MCD in Delhi was held on December 4, in which 50.48 per cent polling was recorded.

Till now the counting of 50 per cent votes is stuck.

Delhi BJP President Gupta said, we raised the excuse of corruption of Aam Aadmi Party, the public understood. We will become mayor for the fourth time in the Municipal Corporation. The way the ruckus is happening, BJP will get absolute majority in the municipal elections.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has 250 wards and 1,349 candidates are in the fray in this election. The municipal elections saw a triangular contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the BJP and the Congress.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expressed confidence of winning more than 180 seats out of a total of 250 in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections.

AAP’s chief spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “The trend will change and we will emerge victorious at more than 180 corners. We have decorated our office and we will celebrate as soon as the pollution changes.” None have been found in the Philippines over the years term.”

Most of the pre-poll polls have predicted a big win for AAP over BJP and third place for Congress.

At the same time, Delhi BJP Vice President Virendra Sachdeva said that a tough fight is taking place. “We will prove pre-poll polls wrong and BJP will come to power in MCD for the fourth consecutive time,” he said.

According to the exit polls released after the voting – AAP is expected to get a bumper majority in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections.

With the result of the initial hesitation, celebrations started in the Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia reached the house of Aam Aadmi’s National Commission Arvind Kejriwal early in the morning. At the same time, preparations for the celebration have started in the Aam Aadmi Party.

42 centers have been set up for counting of votes. During this, security arrangements have been made.

The counting centers are located in areas including Shastri Park, Yamuna Vihar, Mayur Vihar, Nand Nagari, Dwarka, Okhla, Mangolpuri, Pitampura, Alipore and Model City. Police officials said tight security has been put in place all over and 20 companies of Central Armed Police Forces and over 10,000 police personnel have been kept under watch. Both the AAP and the BJP exude confidence that they will emerge victorious in the elections, while the Congress is trying to regain lost ground.
