Delhi Police On Monday launched three new digital initiatives – Anubhuti, a QR code-based feedback system, a revamped Delhi Police website and the e-Chittha portal.

Asthana also mentioned that it was necessary to improve the service delivery system and optimize the use of technology to ensure safety and security of the people.

“It is a paperless feedback system. Citizens visiting the police station will have to scan the QR code of the police station and mark their response. Delhi Police Public Relations Officer Suman Nalwa said, the feedback database will be used to take corrective steps to improve the police-public interface, while the user’s identity will not be disclosed.

He said that the updated user friendly website of Delhi Police is full of more information and will be very useful for the citizens to know about the department and its services in one click.

Referring to his third initiative, Nalwa said that ‘e-chitta’ is the “backbone” of duty deployment and its implementation, which will ensure eight-hour shifts in the department, will not only ensure optimum utilization of manpower resources but also increase efficiency. Will also increase and transparency of personnel.

He said that since Monday e-chitta is working in all 178 regional police stations.

With this initiative, the staff members will get a chance to devote enough time to their families and can look after their health and well being. He said that he will now be able to work with more vigor and vigor.

Mentioning the benefits of merging police control rooms into districts, Asthana said it has resulted in more manpower and availability of patrol vehicles at beat and police stations.

“Hence, for optimum utilization of resources and manpower, the need for a digital duty roster was emphasized. Besides, separation of law and order and investigation in all police stations also required equitable distribution of work to bring about desired results,” he said.
