Delhi University fills 68,849 seats under first four cut-offs, admission for 5th list begins

NS Delhi University (DU) After releasing its fifth cut-off list on Monday, some colleges reopened admissions in certain courses for general category students. Since the release of the first cut-off list, 68,849 students have secured admission in the university. Admissions under the fifth cut-off list will start from Tuesday, November 9, while the special cut-off will be released on November 13.

Ramjas College has reopened admissions for BA (Hons) Sanskrit and seats are still available in BCom (Hons) (97.75%), BA (Hons) History (96.75%), BA (Hons) Hindi (91.25%) Huh. BA (Hons) English (97%) and BA (Hons) Economics (98.25%). Lady Shri Ram College has reopened admissions for BA (Hons) English and BA (Hons) Philosophy to 98.50 percent and 97 percent respectively. The cut-off for BA (Hons) Journalism has come down by 0.50 per cent to 98.50 per cent from the fourth cut-off list.

Aryabhatta College reopens admission for BA (Hons) History for Unreserved category, Political Science (Hons) and BCom for OBC category, BSc (Hons) Computer Science and BA Program (Economics and History) for SC category Is. ) for EWS category. At Miranda House, only two courses are available for general category students – BA (Hons) History (98.75%) and BA (Hons) Sociology (97.75%).

Seats are still available in Kirori Mal College under BA (Hons) Economics (98.25%), BA (Hons) English (97.25%), BA (Hons) History (97.25%).

In a related development, the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) released its second cut-off on Monday. NCWEB is a non-formal system of obtaining degrees from Delhi University in which lectures are given only on weekends. Only female students residing in the National Capital Territory of Delhi can enroll themselves as board students.

Jesus and Mary College has put the cut-off for B.Com at 82 per cent, five per cent lower than the first list, while Maitreyi College has placed it at 81 per cent, lower than the 83 per cent in the first list. Admissions to courses in Hansraj College and Miranda House have been closed. The minimum marks required to gain admission to the BA program (Economics + Political Science) is 82 per cent for Jesus and Mary College, four per cent lower than the first list, while admissions to Miranda House and Hansraj College are closed.
