Delhi University to conduct re-examination for students who missed practical assessment due to covid

Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will conduct re-examinations for students who miss practical exams if they contract Covid-19. This has come to the fore amidst increasing cases of Kovid in the capital. Delhi recorded 3,303 new cases till April 28, taking the positivity rate to 4 per cent.

According to a report by a leading news agency, Dean of Examinations, Diwan Rawat had asked DU affiliated colleges to “help the students” in the meantime and to re-schedule the practical exams, even though it is theoretical. Why not only after the paper is conducted.

According to an earlier official statement released by DU, students who have filled the examination form but are unable to appear for the written examination due to appropriate circumstances may be given a second chance. DU will conduct the semester exams in offline mode after a gap of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. DU students are taking open-book exams and the practice of writing answers in offline mode has changed dramatically in the last few years.
