Delhi Weather Updates: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain and thundershowers in the national capital today. Delhi remained cloudy as Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 76th Independence Day. The Meteorological Department had predicted light rain and strong winds on Monday morning in the area around the Red Fort.

In a special forecast, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday that the Red Fort area may see generally cloudy sky with light rain between 6 am and 12 noon. “Gust gusty wind speed reaching 20-30 kmph is very likely to occur at times during the morning,” the weather forecast said.

The maximum temperature is likely to reach 36 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in the national capital on Sunday was 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius.
