The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has certified New Delhi’s Kotla Mubarakpur Fruit and Vegetable Market as a ‘Clean and Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Market’ as per the benchmark established by FSSAI. This comes after FSSAI certified INA market as the first clean fruit and vegetable market in the national capital. The Food Safety Department of Delhi Government recently took to its official Twitter handle to share this news. “Second Fruit & Vegetable Market in Delhi to be certified as “Clean & Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Market” after INA Fruit & Vegetable Market. Earlier in December (December 7, 2021), Department of Food Safety, GNCT of Delhi announced on Twitter, “INA Fruit & Vegetable Market is the first market to be certified as “Clean & Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Market” by @fssaiindia It’s gone. The hard work of FSD Team South East has paid off.”
