Dense fog disrupts flight operations at Lahore airport – Henry’s Club

LAHORE: Hundreds of air travelers disrupted their travel plans after several domestic and international flights were canceled or delayed due to dense fog at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Wednesday.

Flights from Riyadh and Istanbul via Lahore faced delays of up to 8 hours, while flights to Jeddah and Dubai have been cancelled.

Another flight bound for Kuwait faced a delay of 10 hours at Lahore airport due to bad weather. Sources said a Riyadh-bound plane has been waiting for permission to take off at the airport for the past nine hours.

Flights to and from Muscat and Sharjah have been cancelled. Several domestic flights from Karachi and other cities to Lahore were also delayed for hours due to dense fog in the metropolis.
