After fighting a tough battle with COVID19, RajinikanthThe daughter of Aishwarya started work again with full force. His song Payani was released on Thursday (17 March). After this Aishwarya’s ex-husband Dhanush congratulated her on Twitter. Describing him as a ‘friend’, the actor wrote, “Congratulations my friend @ash_r_dhanush on your music video #payani. God Bless.” Responding to his tweet, Aishwarya said, “Thank you….Godspeed.”
Soon after the tweet, fans of Dhanush and Aishwarya took to the comments section to shower the couple with love. One user wrote, “Dhanush..without any more controversial words. We should behave like this in public. Well behaved didi.” Another said, “Aishwarya ma’am still keeps her name Aishwarya R. Dhanush and both are maturing post-divorce.” Meanwhile, a user also took a dig at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce and commented, “Kanye should take note.” Take a look:
Earlier in the day, megastar Rajinikanth tweeted, “Happy to release #Payani, the musical single directed by my daughter Aishwarya, who is back in direction after a long gap of 9 years. I wish you all the best. I give @ash_r_Dhanush…God bless…Love you”.
Mahesh Babu also congratulated Aishwarya for the song and tweeted, “Congratulations @ash_r_dhanush on your return to direction! Enjoyed every part of the song! #Sanchari”
Meanwhile, Payani is a multilingual song, directed by Aishwarya. It has been released in four languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi as Payani, Sanchari, Yatrakaran and Musafir. In December, Aishwarya made headlines with the news of her separation from husband and actor Dhanush. The ‘Raanjhanaa’ actor took to his Twitter handle and posted the statement which read, “18 years of journey of growth, understanding, adjustment and adaptation as friends, couples, parents and as well wishers of each other has been.”
“Today we stand at a place where our paths are different… Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better.
