Dibrugarh: Center for Studies in Journalism and Mass Communication (CSJMC), Dibrugarh Universityhosted its two-day first edition of “The Kaleido Conclave” on 26 and 27 May in association with Oil India Limited (OIL) and Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymer Limited (BCPL). Among others, Karma Paljor, editor-in-chief of East Mojo, journalist Oinitom Ozah, OIL spokesperson Tridiv Hazarika and independent filmmaker Jaicheng Zaksai Dohutia of Baghjan fame, Guwahati-based master puppeteer Binita Devi participated in the event. Journalism, public relations, cinema and new media were discussed in the two-day programme.
Chief Guest Prof. Deb Kumar Chakraborty highlighted how the media has the power to be an agent to bring about necessary changes in policies with the help of the media. news network
