Speaking about his ‘Bad Man’ image, Gulshan Grover had earlier told ETimes in an interview, “It is totally a conscious effort. After completing my studies, when I stepped into films, I realized that I want to become a star. A star has a recall value. I also chose to be a villain based on what I felt while training with my batchmates under Roshan Taneja Anil Kapoor and others. Another reason to become a villain was because I think villains have a longer shelf life. Their longevity is not based on personal vanity and good looks, but on their performance. They have no age limit. And also because I thought it was challenging enough. It was a great fit for me so I chose to play one. ”
