Talking to reporters in Indore on Wednesday, Digvijay Singh said that he is Corona virus for BJP and RSS.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday took a dig at senior Congress leaders Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath, alleging that they have caused more damage to the state than coronavirus.
Responding to the CM’s statement, Nath urged Chouhan to be patient and maintain decorum.
The Chief Minister made this comment a day after Digvijay Singh said this corona virus For the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Both Digvijay Singh and Kamal Nath, who hail from Madhya Pradesh, are former chief ministers of the state. While Nath currently heads the grand old party’s state unit, Singh is a Rajya Sabha member.
Assembly elections in the BJP-ruled state are due by the end of this year.
Chouhan said, “He (Singh) has made a perfect comparison. Both Singh and Nath have caused much more damage to the state than the corona virus. I am surprised that they have not found any other virus to compare and Only found coronavirus.” told reporters in the state capital.
He was speaking at the state BJP office, where Siddharth Malaiya, son of former finance minister Jayant Malaiya, was inducted back into the party.
Siddharth Malaiya had left the saffron organization after differences with the party leadership over denial of ticket in the Damoh Assembly bypoll.
“Coronavirus that created havoc in people’s lives and ruined the country’s economy…but it was because of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi That not one, but two vaccines have been developed against the virus. Otherwise, Nath had left the people of the state at the mercy of Corona. Today, COVID-19 is completely under control,” Chouhan said.
“But more than COVID-19, both Singh and Nath have harmed the state and its people. The state is completely ruined. There were no roads, no electricity and no water. Even the state’s The growth rate was also negative. Unemployment and corruption were prevalent. During his more than a year of government, Nath destroyed and damaged the state,” he said.
But it was good that the BJP came back to power and tried to develop the state in a historic manner, the chief minister said.
Nath advised Chouhan to be patient and maintain the dignity of the chief minister’s post.
He said, “I will only say that he should behave with patience by linking the remarks made against me by the Chief Minister to the coronavirus. Dignity has to be maintained in public life. If he maintains it, it should be treated reciprocally.” Will go.” told PTI.
