Diljit Dosanjo Demanded justice for late singer-rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, who supports the cause supported by the late singer’s family and followers. Diljit, a close friend of the late musician, recently took to his social media to demand justice for him and raise awareness about a candle march organized in Punjab’s Mansa district on Thursday.
People from all over Punjab took part in the candle march and paid tribute to the late artist. Some took part in Mansa while others took out candle marches in their respective cities, as requested by the family, who were unable to do so in our own neighbourhoods, towns or localities in Mansa for the candle march. Right after the candle march, Diljit shared a picture of the late singer on his social media. The post read “Justice for Sidhu Moose Wala”. He also put candles on his post to represent the candle march.
Earlier, Diljit paid tribute to Sidhu Musewala at his Vancouver concert. While the singer was performing on stage, it was written in the background “This show is dedicated to our brothers”. Videos from the concert went viral on the internet in which Honsala Rakh actor Sidhu Moose Wala was seen singing a special track in his beloved memory. Diljit also paid respect to the late Kabaddi player Sandeep Singh Sandhu and Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu with their performances as well as delivered a speech in which he called for unity among the Punjabi community.
The Punjabi singer’s heartfelt gesture left the netizens emotional, and everyone praised him for doing such a heartwarming act. Sharing the video of the event on his Instagram, the actor wrote in the caption, “One love.”
For the uninformed, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot by assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district. The incident happened a day after the Punjab Police along with 424 others removed their security. The authorities have detained four people in connection with the murder.
The incident left the nation in shock, with netizens demanding justice for the Punjabi singer.
