Panaji : Directorate fire and emergency services complete a on saturday 15 Days Special Training Course In general fire prevention and firefighting for 36 employees of starred hotels operating across the country.
The department has successfully trained 705 trainees so far Taj Group Of Hotels,
The training included both theoretical and practical classes. The participants were trained on various areas of fire prevention and safety measures like fixed fire installation, evacuation drill procedure, technological advancements in the field of fire fighting, disaster management, etc.
Nitin Raikar, Director, Fire and Emergency Services, was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.
The visiting faculty including former Chief Fire Officer of Toughwood, CIDCO, Arvind Mandke and Pravin Khemka conducted theoretical classes for the trainees.
