Divisional Railway Manager Anoop Satpathy inaugurated horse riding training at Waltair Railway Football Stadium here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Waltair Division is the only one in the history of Indian Railways to promote equestrian training. This facility was open to railway employees and officers. However, outsiders could also receive training at a reasonable fee.
Shri Satpathy said that the weather of Visakhapatnam is now best suited for horse riding. The training timings will be between 6 am to 9 pm and then from 4 pm to 6 pm sports officials and volunteers will guide and facilitate the training programme.
