If you want to overcome the problem of lack of money in your house in future, then buy the idol of Maa Lakshmi together with the Airavat elephant.
Two elephants should be made on either side of Mahalakshmi under a shower of water, gold and silver coins. If an elephant has an urn in its trunk, then such an idol is also considered auspicious.
Maa Lakshmi should be seated on a lotus flower. Do not bring such a picture of Maa Lakshmi in which she is seated on an owl. This will bring negative energy into your home.
The standing idol of Maa Lakshmi should not be brought home. It is believed that such idols obstruct the flow of money in the house.
If there is an idol of Lakshmi Narayan along with it, then it is necessary to have Garuda in the form of a vehicle.
Never bring a picture that has only Maa Lakshmi. The idol of Ganesha or Maa Saraswati must be accompanied by the goddess. It will bring wealth and knowledge to your home.
Lord Ganesha should always be to the right of Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu should be to the left of Lakshmi.
