In this recipe, tricolor rolls are made by mixing pistachio and mango flavored mawa paste with fig paste. This mawa fig roll requires minimal ingredients and can be easily prepared at home. Firstly take milk in a heavy bottom pan. Add sugar and let it boil. Lower the flame so that it does not burn from below. Keep stirring it till it becomes thick like solid milk (mawa). Divide the mawa into two equal parts, put pistachio paste in one and mango pulp in the other.

After this, boil the figs in a saucepan. Add sugar and cook to make a smooth paste. Make small rolls of figs and make a colored paste of mawa. Make tricolor rolls by mixing the paste of figs and mawa. Garnish with chopped almonds and golden var. Serve cold and enjoy!
