Diwali 2022: Make this Delicious Fig Barfi for a guilt-free indulgence

This fig burfi offers many health benefits as it is loaded with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Figs are ground to form a paste and mixed with cashew powder, condensed milk and cardamom powder. It is then refrigerated until set and topped with poppy seeds. Anjeer Barfi Recipe: How to Make Anjeer Barfi

First of all we have to make cashew powder for barfi. For this, soak 1 cup of figs (figs) for at least 2 hours. After soaking, grind it to make a paste and keep it aside. Now fry the poppy seeds in a pan till it becomes light golden, after that fry cashews too. Make a powder out of it.

After this, melt ghee in a non stick pan and add fig paste to it. Add condensed milk and cardamom powder. Mix well. Add cashew powder and mix everything together until it becomes a sticky paste. Now spread it on butter paper and flatten it evenly. Sprinkle poppy seeds over it and roll on butter paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before opening and cutting into any size pieces.
