Shri Saxena issued strict instructions to DoV and all departments to “carefully consider” all matters and complaints referred for comments and investigation and ensure that these are done “after judicious application of mind” within a stipulated time frame. be provided.

While several cases of investigation were pending since 2012-2017, the administrative departments did not submit their comments. In others, the DoV submitted “self-contradictory recommendations” to grant approval.

“Advising the DoV to ensure that the request to the ACB is submitted for its consideration only after due diligence by the Administrative Departments against whose officer the complaint has been made, the LG has directed that the comments of the Administrative Department be be kept on record without fail,” Raj Niwas said.

“It should be ensured that the recommendations made by different agencies are not divergent from each other and are not self-contradictory which on one hand will ensure speedy disposal of cases and also ensure justice to the complainant as well as the respondent,” it added. .
