But do you know NCB Police have Bollywood connection? 2008 batch Indian Revenue Service officer Sameer Wankhede is married to the popular marathi actress Revolution Raidkar. Kranti has worked with actor Ajay Devgn in his 2003 film Gangaajal. The couple tied the knot in 2017. Now, in an exclusive chat with ETimes, the actress talks about how top cops deal with drug cases and try to maintain a peaceful atmosphere at home. Talking about her husband Kranti said, ‘Sameer has always been a hard worker. He had operations and cases before. Today he is dealing with drug investigation cases related to Bollywood, which is why it is in the limelight. Further revealing about her husband’s dedication towards work, she mentioned that Sameer does not talk about his affairs at home and she respects the ‘secrecy of her job’. He further said, ‘He gets so busy sometimes that he can’t even sleep. He works 24/7. He hardly sleeps for 2 hours. He performs covert operations everyday, and is not allowed to reveal anything related to it to his family. Sameer is in such a field where he cannot sit still for a minute. Even after coming home, he discusses the operation with his team over the phone. Talking about her children and how much they miss their father at home, the actress said, ‘Our twins sometimes miss him at home, which is obvious. But Sameer knows that I am at home to take care of his family, kids and he doesn’t need to worry about anything. I am very proud that Sameer is sacrificing his personal life, children and family for the country. Describing her husband as an ‘introvert and very reserved person’, Kranti reveals how happy she is to see Sameer giving interviews to the media about her affairs. ‘He never opens up about anything to anyone,’ she said. He never smiles. I have asked him to smile while giving interview but he smiles. But yes, he is NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, and I respect and love him. I am so proud of him.’
