Doctors in China have removed a tumor of about 46 cm from a patient’s body. Reportedly, a woman named Lin from eastern China’s Jiangsu province underwent a lengthy surgery to remove the tumor at a hospital on June 2.
Doctors at the hospital said if it was not removed in time, it would further damage the organs as it would put pressure on them and spread to other parts of Lynn’s body.
Despite regular exercise and a balanced diet, Lin continued to gain weight. Speaking to a local media house, Lynn said that she had been thin all her life, and when she couldn’t lose weight, she decided to seek medical help.
And, thus Lynn learned that a large tumor, about 46 cm (18.1 in) was growing in her abdomen.
