CHANDIGARH: As many as 100 people were arrested by the police and 98 FIRs were registered under the NDPS Act and Narcotics Control Bureau Tuesday’s joint raids across Haryana.
state home minister Anil Vij Said that as per reports received from different districts, 3315 police personnel were taken out in raids at 1,169 places.
Vij said that during the raid, 3.515kg opium, 20.034g smack, 117.85g heroin, 13.911kg opium husk, 35.590kg ganja and 20 injections were seized.
He said that for this special campaign was launched to eradicate drug addiction from the state.
