So, what will change from the next academic session with the implementation of the National Policy on Education (NEP) and the four-year undergraduate programme. Let’s try to understand.

1) Four year program will be started in DU from next academic session.

7) EC, which is the highest decision making body of the University, approved MEES and ABC.

8) In a dissenting note against the implementation of the policy, members said it would lead to privatization and commercialization of education, and that its implementation would lead to “the destruction of the largest public funded university in India”.

9) The members also said that the quality of education and quality of education in the university will be affected by the implementation of NEP 2020.

10) The Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) on Tuesday held an online protest against the implementation of NEP.
