Audi and Ducati came together for a special event in Sardinia, with the DesertX and RS Q e-tron taking center stage. The event saw 2022 Dakar stage winner Danilo Petrucci on the DesertX, while official Audi drivers Stefan Peterhansel and Carlos Sainz showed off the capabilities of the RS Q e-tron. To celebrate the partnership, Centro Style Ducati designed an exclusive livery for the DesertX inspired by the Audi RS Q e-tron. Petrucci demonstrated the prowess of both machines on a technical off-road track with Sainz and Cruz.

Andrea Ferraresi, Director of Centro Style Ducati, said, “When we first saw the RS Q e-tron, we couldn’t help but imagine it in action among the dunes and rocks with the DesertX. gave us the opportunity to do so and so we decided to create a special outfit inspired by the colors and graphics of the Audi prototype. The Ducati DesertX is a new middleweight enduro offering and the bike will enter the Indian market later this year. The bike is designed for off-road excursions and comes equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel. It also gets long suspension travel and ample ground clearance. Power comes from the 937cc Testastretta L-twin engine, while Ducati says the motorcycle gets comfortable ergonomics. The Ducati DesertX will also come with a host of electronics including six riding modes including two off-road specific ones – Enduro and Rally.
