Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming King Of Kotha is one of the most awaited Malayalam movies. It will release on Onam this year. The actor’s fiery look can be seen in the film’s poster, which has created excitement among his fans. Meanwhile, ahead of the much-awaited release, the makers have reportedly sold the audio rights of the film to Sony Music at a record price. It is also reported that this music business has become the highest ever for any Malayalam film. Jake Bijoy and Shaan Rahman composed the music for Kotha Ke Raja.
Kotha Ke Raja has completed its 95-day long shoot in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. King Of Kotha starring Dulquer Salmaan and Aishwarya Lekshmi is expected to be a gangster film. Abhilash Joshi will debut as a director. Dulquer described the film as his “homecoming” film when he unveiled the first look poster for it. The film will be counted as the highest budget film for Seetha Ramam actor. Collaboration with Zee Studios. This will be the first Malayalam film for Zee Studios.
As an Onam gift to fans, the film will release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Abhilash N Chandran of Porinju Mariam Jose fame wrote the screenplay of this film. The film also stars Shabbir Kallarakkal, Naila Usha, Gokul Suresh, Chemban Vinod Jose, Prasanna and many more. Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame will also be seen in a dance number.
Speaking to Kochi Times, director Abhilash Joshi said that Dulquer Salmaan was his first choice for the film as he is the closest person to him in the industry. “It is a gangster film with romance and songs and is a complete entertainment package that will be loved by the youth and families,” he added.
