Chennaiyin FC (CFC) on Tuesday announced their squad for the 131st edition of the Durand Cup. The club will start their campaign in Group C on Saturday against Army Red FT.
Indian internationals Narayan Das, Rahim Ali and captain Anirudh Thapa along with Edwin Vanspall are some of the familiar faces in the team. Defender Wafa Hakhamenashi, Fallow Diagne, midfielders Julius Ducker, Rafael Crivellaro, and forwards Petar Sliskovic and Kwame Karikri round out the overseas line-up for the two-time Indian Super League champions.

New recruits Vincy Barreto, Ajith Kumar and Jiteshwar Singh will be looking forward to playing for the club in a competitive capacity for the first time, while youngster Senthamiz, Mohammad Aaqib and Chris White will get their first taste of the senior team.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Rafiq, Alexander Romario Jesuraj, Saurav Das and Lijo Francis are all injured and out of action. He has begun his recovery process and will be evaluated in the coming weeks.
The group of CFCs in the Durand Cup also includes Hyderabad FC, TRAI FC and Neroca, all first round games to be played in Imphal, Manipur on 26 August, 1 September and 5 September respectively.
