eBikeGo to set up EV plant through subsidiary Vajram Electric

eBikeGo recently announced that it will be setting up a EV manufacturing plant through its subsidiary, Vajram Electric For this velocipedo and the Muvi brand of EVs. A dedicated quality EV manufacturing unit is the need of the hour and Vajram Electric is the key to this. This is the first and most important step towards achieving the goal. Vajram Electric will offer modular, purpose-built EVs to solve the future of mobility.”
With Vajram Electric, eBikeGo will become a flexible EV OEM as a service to address the existing shortcomings. EV industry And to better pave the way for future production, the company said in a statement.
For different use cases, the contract manufacturing facility will be able to reduce cost and time while working on low volume changes by optimizing platform sharing, the company said. Currently, eBikeGo has over 2,500 running fleets in the EV rental space and is available in 7 cities.
eBikeGo is working vigorously with all the major last mile delivery companies and aims to target 2% of the domestic electric two wheeler market. According to the official statement, the company is planning to bring around 2,00,000 bikes to 100 cities in India.
