Economically weak EWS will not actually rely on the judgment Supreme Court

The Supreme Court’s 5-judge bench has dismissed the full review petition filed regarding the decision of EWS returns. The Supreme Court said in the judgment that no mistake has been found on the face of the record in the judgment. Hence the follower has no basis. The judgment was pronounced by a bench of CJI DY Chandrachud, Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, Justice S Ravindra Bhat, Justice Bela M Trivedi and Justice JB Pardiwala. On this, the bench considered uploading the verdict in the Chamber on May 9 on Tuesday.

The petition was filed by Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Jaya Thakur. A five-judge constitution bench, by a 3:2 majority, had given the verdict to the EWS as essentially constitutional. On November 7, 2022, the Supreme Court upheld the decision given by the economically weaker upper castes for miles. A 5-judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice UU Lalit upheld the 103rd amendment to the constitution by a majority of 3-2. The petition petitioned against the statement that it was a hoax with the 103rd Constitutional Amendment.
