MV Agusta Superveloce Ego has been selected as the 2021 edition of the world’s most famous motorcycle trade show, EICMA. The SuperVeloce Ego took the lead from the opening of the competition organized by MotoCyclismo magazine and operated by Garmin, and maintained a solid lead throughout the week during the show. SuperVeloce Ego collected 47.2 percent of the votes cast by 12,567 attendees. Second place Aprilia Tuareg got 19 percent of the votes, while Moto Morini X-Cape took third place with 7.9 percent of the votes.

The special edition motorcycle was unveiled at Misano Racetrack in October 2021 to honor the racing successes of Giacomo Agostini. The former MV Agusta factory racer won 15 world championships throughout his career, as well as 311 individual Grand Prix victories. MV Agusta has also celebrated the victory of Giacomo Agostini in the past, having released the MV Agusta F4 Ego and MV Agusta F3 Ego.

The SuperVeloce Ego is hand-crafted in a limited edition of 311 units, the same number of career wins as Agostini, while the first 15 are devoted to his World Championship title. Each bike is signed by Agostini, and each features a carbon fiber plaque commemorating the exact year of the title. Many parts of the special edition bike’s fairing are carbon fiber, while the Ohlins suspension is fully adjustable. The 798 cc, three-cylinder engine retains its technical specifications, making 147 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm of peak torque at 10,100 rpm.
