AHMEDABAD: Eight laborers were killed when the lift of an under-construction building collapsed in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
The building was being constructed near the Gujarat University campus.
Zone 1 Deputy Commissioner of Police Lavina Sinha said, “Preliminary investigation revealed that the lift carrying the workers fell on the ground from the seventh floor, killing eight workers.”
