Maharashtra’s nominated CM Eknath Shinde on June 30 expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah for showing him and making ‘Balasaheb ke Sainik’ the Chief Minister of the state. “BJP has 120 MLAs but in spite of that Devendra Fadnavis did not take over as CM. I express my gratitude to PM Modi, Amit Shah and other BJP leaders for showing generosity and making Balasaheb’s Sainik (party-worker) the CM of the state,” he said on June 30.
