Eknath Shinde’s wife played drums to welcome him home. watch

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s wife Lata Shinde was seen with pride and enthusiasm playing drums as part of an orchestra to welcome him home on Wednesday.

The thrilling video has gone viral. Shinde arrived at the “Shubhdeep” bungalow, which is his family residence in Thane, after a fortnight of hectic political activities.

On the formation of Maharashtra cabinet on Monday, CM Shinde had said, ‘Let’s breathe properly. It was very busy for us. We have gone through a lot in the last few days. Give us some time to meet your families. We will decide it (division of ministries).

His wife, Lata, is credited for being his backbone for emotional strength to endure any crisis, be it financial, political or familial.

Back in 2000, when the couple lost their two sons to a tragedy, Eknath Shinde had gone into severe depression and lost all interest in his career leaving politics. His sons – Dipesh (11) and Shubhada (7) – drowned in the boat as they drowned in the lake. However, their third son Srikanth narrowly escaped the accident.

After the tragedy, Lata Shinde, devastated by the demise of her children, raised her husband and brought him back into politics. His “Shubhdeep” was later named in honor of his deceased sons.

Shinde took oath as the chief minister of the state on June 30, ending the political turmoil that has been brewing in Maharashtra for more than a week. Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister after initial reluctance.

Shinde on Monday made it public that the BJP was an active participant in his recent rebellion against the Shiv Sena leadership. Shinde’s remarks in the state assembly after winning the floor test in the House did not leave anyone doubting that BJP leader Fadnavis, who is now the deputy CM, was actively involved in the activities of the Shinde-led group.

“Our numbers were less (compared to BJP) but PM Narendra Modi blessed us. Modi sahib told me before taking oath that he will help me in every possible way. Amit Shah sahab said that he will stand behind us like a rock. But the biggest kalakar (artist) is this, Shinde said, pointing to Fadnavis, who is sitting on the treasury bench to his right. We used to meet when the MLAs of my group were sleeping and returned (Guwahati) before they woke up,” Shinde said.

Pointing to Fadnavis, Shinde said, “He who created everything is here.” “No one knows what he will do and when,” Shinde said.
