Ekta Kapoor urges govt to release new promo of missing Balaji ex-COO, Phone Bhoot

Ekta Kapoor has requested the Government of India and humanitarian organization Kenya Red Cross to help locate Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan, the former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of her banner Balaji Telefilms. Khan went missing in Nairobi in the third week of July this year. In an Instagram post, Ekta shared a picture of Khan and wrote, “Our ex-COO of Balaji Telefilms Ltd. has gone missing from Nairobi almost three months ago, I request the Ministry of External Affairs and Kenya Red Cross to kindly address this issue. Look at it.”

The makers of Phone Bhoot have raised the excitement among everyone by releasing a new promo of their film. The promo features Sheeba Chaddha as ‘Chudel’ and shares a glimpse of what happens when she meets two ghostbusters – Siddhant and Ishaan. 48 Seconds was definitely a laughing ride and promised that the film would be a blockbuster comedy. Starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter, Phone Bhoot will hit the theaters on November 4, 2022.

The India Chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) has shared the list of top ten Indian films of all time. Satyajit Ray’s Pather Panchali has topped the list. Released in 1955, Pather Panchali was based on Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay’s Bengali novel of the same name and was the first installment in the Apu trilogy of films. Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Amjad Khan, Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan’s 1975 film Sholay also ranks 10th on the list.

The family of late actress Vaishali Takkar fulfilled her wish and donated her eyes ahead of her cremation on October 16. Sharing details about the same, his brother revealed how the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame often talked about donning eyes after his death. Collision was found dead at his house in Indore on October 15. A suicide note was also recovered from her house, which shows that she was under stress and the neighbor was harassing her. Later, the main accused in the case, Rahul Navlani, was arrested.
