Elon Musk’s meme is understood to be contradicting several social movements such as the BLM, LGBTQ and trans flags, as well as some news organizations and social media platforms. The last group also includes Twitter.

Elon Musk tweeted a bizarre meme on Twitter that is being considered anti-LGBTQ and anti-Semitic for many other reasons. The meme depicts a stick figure representing several groups of people with a pride flag, a symbol of Islam, vaccines resting on its arms, leftist symbols, news organizations, the Black Lives Matter movement, a face mask , social media platforms (including Twitter itself) among others. The figure shows a Chad holding an American flag telling him that he is “brainwashed”. The meme is understood to subvert the symbols represented by the stick figures as the Chad figure asks “Really?” This implies that the stick figure is in fact “brainwashed”.

“I’m not brainwashed!!” Musk captioned the tweet.

A Twitter user criticized Musk over his stance on people choosing their own pronouns with the meme, to which the Twitter boss replied, “Yeah, I’m not a fan of pronouns when someone tries every possible scene for that.” Hints, but still insists on telling you exactly what you expect. I favor pronouns that aren’t entirely clear based on visual cues.”

Kasturi also got into a little scuffle with a random Twitter user.

“So just to be clear: One has diverse views and opinions, as well as an extensive social network. The other’s entire persona is the American flag. Yes. That’s how brainwashing works. Also, has anyone Notice he put the Twitter logo on the person he’s trying to make fun of?” wrote a Twitter user.

Outrage over Kasturi’s memes is almost a regular affair on Twitter.
