AHMEDABAD: The state revenue department has notified all districts, including Ahmedabad, to appoint an inquiry officer to analyze the applications uploaded by citizens. imojini Portal for approved measurement map of their land. The department on June 10 defined the role of Scrutiny Officer and said that only after the officer verifies the scanned documents on the portal, the respective payment can be made online.
Describing the procedure, the revenue department directed the appointed inquiry officer to access the application of citizens using their own login ID and respond within four days of assessing the application for measurement.
Scrutiny Officer has to inform the citizen through E-mail And SMS on the status of the application. Deputy Secretary, Revenue, MB Soni in his letter has directed the districts to comment in detail about the requirement of documents or reasons for rejecting an application through SMS or email.
Thereafter the online application for land measurement can be considered by the Integrated Online Revenue Application Portal.
