Energica The FIM Enel MotoE World Cup – is the only manufacturer of high-performance racing electric motorcycles for the Electric Motorcycle Racing Series. Now, the company has unveiled the all-electric Energica Xperia – a dedicated Sports Touring Motorcycle With a longer range and faster recharge time.
Energica is calling the Xperia the ‘Green Tourer’. The manufacturer claims that the platform, frame, steering, fairing etc. are all new, and built from the ground up for the Xperia sports tourer. Energica’s fourth all-electric motorcycle aims to provide “the thrill of a sportbike and the comfort of a traditional touring bike.”
The motorcycle is equipped with a 22.5 kWh battery pack that can be charged from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes with a Level 3/DC fast charger. The battery is compatible with all levels of charging though. A fully charged battery on the Xperia will be good for a city range of 420km, 208km on highways and a combined 256km.

The EMCE Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor from Xperia churns out a peak power output of 102 HP along with a maximum torque rating of 115 Nm. The bike can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds, while the top-speed is limited to 180 kmph. It also gets 7 riding modes including Eco, Urban, Rain, Sport, plus 3 rider customizable modes. The bike has 4 regenerative braking settings, which can also be turned off completely.
Energica offers the Xperia with 6 levels of traction control combined with EABS and Bosch cornering ABS. sports tour The motorcycle comes with two USB ports on the dash. The waterproof, lockable storage compartment of the motorcycle houses two additional USB ports. Accessories include side panniers and a top case with a total capacity of 112 litres, which includes the launch variant.
The launch version also features aluminum rims with red detailing, bar end and bolts, heated handgrips and red detailing in black aergle. The Xperia is now available at all Energica stores across the world with deliveries expected to start in a few months.
