Oppo to find tech talent across India India The Oppo Inspiration Cup, a coding hackathon, has been announced in partnership with Hacker Earth. The program aims to test the coding skills of the students, and the winning members will get a chance to intern with Oppo India R&D and win other prizes.
This hackathon is designed to provide a platform to engineering students across India to showcase their coding skills and is spread over eight weeks in different phases of the hackathon.

“Innovation has been one of the fundamentals of OPPO; However, in doing so, we are committed to capacity building of the nation and the people. The OPPO Inspiration Cup is looking for the best like-minded talent in the country to develop creative solutions to real-time technological challenges. Our brand proposition, Inspiration Ahead, drives us to create innovative technology, and we will continue to inspire our young innovators to do the same,” said Tasleem Arif, Vice President, India R&D Head, Oppo India.
There will be a total of three rounds in the Oppo Inspiration Cup Hackathon. Round one of the challenges will include a time-bound coding challenge that will identify 100 individuals who are eligible to advance to the competition. The winners of the first round will be announced on October 12, 2022. The winners will be given access to a micro-site that will lead them to the next challenge starting October 15, 2022. The second round will be in a similar format, albeit more challenging. The winners for this will be announced on October 19.

Oppo India’s Genius+ program is introduced to help engineering students with scholarship programs. Additionally, OPPO has collaborated with academia to promote research in camera and image processing, battery, network (5G), system performance and artificial intelligence, among other areas. The brand is also running an Elevate program to promote creativity in the start-up ecosystem in India.
Register for Oppo Inspiration Cup is open and students can apply till October 8, 2022.
