Kamya Panjabi was in Indore recently, and like most people who come there, she couldn’t help herself but eat some roadside food. The actress had seen a pani puri stall, and was immediately engrossed in eating the balls filled with water. Although its taste was such that the actress forgot an envelope at the stall itself. This was no ordinary envelope, it contained one lakh rupees. And what happened next has been disclosed by Kamya herself.
While talking to ETimes, she revealed, “I was in Indore on Sunday for an event. On my way back, my friend producer Santosh Gupta told me that there is a place where a man sells wonderful pani puri. With Indore being famous for its chaat, I could not control my urge and decided to give it a try. I had an envelope containing Rs 1 lakh in cash. So, while I was eating, I put it on a table in his shop. I got so engrossed in eating it and taking pictures of the place that I left the envelope there.
what happened next? Kamya said, ‘My friend reached there. I was tense and hoping I would get it back. I kept thinking to myself that I would have to thank my stars if I got it back, because it was such a busy place. When he reached there, he found my packet at the same place where we had left it. He spoke to Dinesh Gurjar, the owner of the Pani Puri stall and withdrew. I was thrilled, I didn’t know how to react because I was almost sure we wouldn’t find it there. Something is happening which is very surprising and surprising. I think the people of Indore are really nice and kind.”
