Atta Galata launches in association with Penguin Random House Who’s Afraid of the Giant Wheel? By Zainab Sulaiman. The book explores the world of eight-year-old Noori. The event is open to children ages eight and up.

On 28th January at 5 pm at Atta Galta, Indiranagar.

Atta Galta will also be the venue for a storytelling session, where he will present the story Mohandas to Mahatma. Aimed at young adults, the story will be narrated by Vikram Sridhar.

art and retrospective

An art exhibition titled The Realm of Manifestation is on at the National Gallery of Modern Art. Described as a “retrospective” of veteran artist CS Krishna Shetty, the exhibition features around 300 paintings and drawings, sculptures and installation art. Setti’s recent works explore notions of desire, sexuality and tradition in the context of human experiences and stories, while layering motifs and symbols, with strongly allegorical language.

The exhibition at NGMA will conclude on January 29.
