husband of actress poonam pandey Sam Bombay was arrested by Mumbai Police on 8 November physical assault, Poonam has suffered serious injuries on her head, hands, eyes and face. Reports say that the actress was admitted to the hospital after the incident. This is not Poonam’s first police complaint against Sam, she was earlier arrested by Goa Police in 2020 after the actress filed a complaint of assault and threats against her husband. At that time, in an exclusive conversation with Bombay Times, Poonam had revealed that Sam hit her during an argument and then ‘slammed her head against the corner of the bed’. He then said, ‘Sam and I had an argument, which escalated and he started hitting me. He strangled me and I thought I was going to die. The hotel staff called the police, who took him away. The actress then decided to end the relationship but somehow reconciled with her husband.
