A state meeting on ‘right to reservation’ organized by the Fraternity Movement here on Sunday alleged that the reservation introduced for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) is in violation of constitutional provisions. The meeting, opened by Hameed Vaniyambalam, state secretary of the Welfare Party, alleged that the new reservation norms were again making further communities more powerful. Former minister Nilalohitdasan Nadar delivered the keynote address.
