In the aftermath of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in our country, there has been an increase in child abuse including child marriage, child labour, abandoned children and orphans – a major factor in pandemic-induced poverty. Mansa working with the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare (WDCW) in her home state Telangana, which works tirelessly for the safety and protection of children. However, upon learning more about the process and the challenges faced by the team, she realized that there was hardly any vehicle available to take quick steps to receive the alert.
Manasa firmly believes that every child deserves the right to a safe childhood, and through this fundraiser, she hopes to raise substantial funds for the Maruti Eeco rescue van.
