New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday clarified that it has not issued any official notification on the datesheet of the first-time examination for class 10 and 12.

“It has come to the notice of CBSE that a fake datesheet for the upcoming Term 1 examination in November 2021 is being circulated on social media to mislead the students of Class X and XII. It is clarified that the Board has not issued any official notification in this regard so far,” the board said in a tweet.

CBSE had last week said that the first-ever board exams for classes 10 and 12 would be conducted offline in November-December and the datesheet for the same would be announced on October 18.

However, the exam schedule has not been released yet.

The board had said that the test would be objective and the duration of the test would be 90 minutes. In view of the winter season, the examinations will start from 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am.

Dividing the academic session, holding two term-end exams and rationalizing the syllabus was part of the special assessment plan for class 10 and 12 board exams in 2021-22, announced by CBSE in July in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. did.
