When Luv Shav Te Chicken Khurana Released in 2012, many of us were intrigued by the “secret recipe” the film talked about. Now, Chef Saransh Goila comes up with his version of the recipe and we look forward to trying it out! The chef has shared a step by step video of chicken curry recipe on Instagram. You will need these ingredients to make this Chicken Curry:

1 kg with chicken bone

Ginger Garlic Paste 45g

Lemon juice

Onion 6 pcs

Garlic buds 10 pcs

ginger 2 inches

Green chilies 3 pcs

cinnamon stick 1 pc

bay leaf 2 pcs

black cardamom 2 pcs

Cloves 2-3 pcs

Green cardamom 2-3 pcs

Cumin 1.5 tsp

chopped tomatoes 4 pcs

Turmeric 1/4 tsp

chili powder 2 tsp

Coriander powder 3 tsp

Water

Ghee

mustard oil

Fenugreek seeds

salt to taste

Process

Marinate the chicken pieces with a dash of ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice and mustard oil. Leave it for 2 hours. Make a fine paste by mixing onion, garlic cloves, ginger and green chilies. Keep it aside. Heat a pan lightly drizzle mustard oil. Add whole spices like cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, black and green cardamom, cloves and cumin. In this pan add onion-garlic paste and fry till golden brown. Cut the tomatoes and put them in the pan, also add chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder. Add little water so that the paste does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Now put the pre-marinated chicken in it and fry it by sealing it. Then, add 500 ml of water and pressure cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.

NS Chicken Khurana The recipe has a unique smoky taste. For this take a piece of coal. Put hot coal in ghee in a separate container and smoke the chicken for 5 minutes. Then, add smoked ghee as well. Sprinkle roasted kasoori methi powder over the chicken curry for a finishing touch.
