Fire in Delhi warehouse

The work of extinguishing the fire is on and the cause of the fire is being ascertained.

New Delhi:

A fire broke out at a godown in south-east Delhi in the early hours of Friday.

He said that no casualty has been reported so far.

Director of Delhi Fire Services Atul Garg said that a fire was reported in Sanjay Colony in Okhla Phase 2 at 3.51 am, following which 18 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

He said the waste of cotton, yarn and clothing was deposited inside the basement, ground floor and first floor of the godown.

He said that the fire fighting operation is on and the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
