Sanjay Dutt in his Koffee With Karan appearance recalled how he came to know about his past life and claimed that he was a king who was betrayed by his wife

Sanjay Dutt is one such actor whose career spans more than four decades. Starting as a child artiste in Reshma Aur Shera, Bollywood The star established an image that was completely different from that of his contemporaries. Dutt has really fought against all odds to carve a niche for himself in the Indian film industry. The actor, who turned 63 on Friday, once revealed on the controversial talk show Koffee With Karan that he was a king in his previous life and that his wife wanted him to die because he had an affair with one of his ministers!

In an episode aired in 2005, Sanjay Dutt talked about Shivneri, a place near Chennai where Nadi Astrology Widely practiced by the local people. On the recommendation of a friend from Gangavathi in Karnataka, the actor visited the quaint place. He shared, “It is a small village and there you give your thumb impression and they find your leaf. He got my address and said that your father’s name is Balraj Dutt and I said ‘no it is Sunil Dutt’. And then they said that your mother’s name should be Fatima Hussain, and who knows?”

The actor further revealed that though he had denied the genuine claims made by Pujari, he was shocked when Pujari explained the reason behind his misfortune that he had killed many people in his previous life. Sanjay Dutt said, “I was a king in the Ashoka dynasty. My wife had an affair with my minister and sent me into battle to kill me. But I killed many people, and came back, and found me I found out, and I killed him; I killed him too. I was a Shiva devotee so I went to the forest and died of hunger.

Sanjay Dutt recently worked in Karan Malhotra’s directorial film Shamshera. The film received negative reviews at the box office. After a flurry of negative reviews, Sanjay Dutt penned a heartfelt note stating his solidarity with the entire cast and crew of the period action drama. The actor will next be seen in ‘The Good Maharaja’ and ‘Ghuchadi’.
